What Chapter7 Bankruptcy Law Exactly Is?

When a troubled business is badly in debt and unable to service that debt or pay its creditors, it may file for bankruptcy in a federal court under Chapter 7. A Chapter 7 filing means that the business ceases operations unless continued by the Chapter 7 Trustee. A Chapter 7 Trustee is appointed almost immediately. The Trustee generally sells all the assets and distributes the proceeds to the creditors.

However, this is not usually as helpful to you as you might think. Often this half an hour will be more dedicated to the firms assessment of the merits of your case and it is their way of determining whether or not they are willing to take on your case themselves. Unfortunately, this type of situation is all to reminiscent of how most firms of solicitors are able to manipulate situations to their own advantage.

Internet Service Providers in the Wireless Age

Internet service providers, also known as ISPs, are companies that provide Internet access and other related services such as voice mail or virtual hosting to customers in their designated area. Companies such as Clearwire provide high speed wireless Internet access, which is the preferred type of access, with download speeds of up to 2 Mb and upload speeds of up to 256k. The first Internet service providers only offered dial up access, but today’s connections are often 25 times faster than dial-up.
