Alternatives to Costly Fossil Fuels

When you wake up in the morning, you might flip the light switch and turn on the light. You stumble to the shower and turn on the hot water. After your shower you might go into the kitchen and cook a few eggs for breakfast on the stove. Once your dressed and ready, you hop in the car, turn the ignition, and drive to work. To most people this is probably just a harmless morning routine. But all of these daily morning activities consume precious and increasingly scarce fossil fuels.

How To Raise Money For Charity

I am writing this article on the fund raising day known as Children In Need. Many people are doing weird and wonderful things to help raise money for this good cause. There are lots of things you can do to raise extra cash on and around this special day. Children in Need is not the only time charities need your help, Red Nose Day is another well known event and many organisations need you help all through the year. If you feel like making a difference, here are some ideas that should help the cash pour in. Your money will always be greatly appreciated by the charities.

Celebrating Black Love Day

On Valentines Day the stores are washed over in pink, the flower shops are bustling, there are chocolate hearts everywhere. The holiday is regarded with mixed feelings amongst nearly everyone at some point in their lives, especially when one finds him or herself re-visiting the holiday single, swigging a bottle of cheap wine (or overeating on chocolates that you bought yourself) and feeling left out.
