The world of projector installation has kept me busy for some time now. Not a vocation as such but I do like to take a pride in my work. I've seen the inside of all manner of schools and teaching institutions during this job. From the upper class private schools who use projector installation for inbuilt cinema entertainment to the local comprehensives who have just discovered technology.

If you ask architects what's up, they'll say the project they just finished. Architects turn dreams into realities, bridge past and present and have high hopes for the future. As of now, the highest is Taipei 101 at 1,671 feet.

I dream the same dream over and over. I'm in a strange place looking for things that belong to me so I can take them home. Supposedly dreams are the voice of our subconscious, but I have no idea what my subconscious is trying to tell me or why it keeps repeating itself. Maybe it's nothing for me to worry about. Maybe my subconscious stutters.

Take your elbows off the table, don't talk with food in your mouth, don't run in the house - I thought diamond sorters were less picky than my mother. Then I had children and I understood - almost. I still think sending me to a summer camp that taught manners was a bit extreme.

If I ever run for political office, I'll pass a law that requires spring cleaning to be postponed until winter. Why waste days of blooming flowers, invigorating air and sweater-wearing temperatures inside the house - especially inside a dirty house. After being elected by a landslide, I'll spend my spring cleaning up politics.

The week is traditionally made up of seven days of equal length and depth. Depending on your preference, the week starts with either Monday or Sunday and ends with either Saturday or confusingly Sunday again. The names of the days of the week are based either on numerical or planetary meanings, such as Saturday which takes it name from Saturn, the planet.

The law for taxing cell phone use was written 20 years ago. That's when cell phones were the size and weight of bricks - when they cost $4,000 and were used only by top executives. Today they're smaller, lighter, cheaper and used by almost everyone - but the law hasn't changed. Personal calls made on company mobile phones are still taxable. The IRS considers them part of an employee's compensation package. Just like using a company car, employees are expected to document all use, indicating which was personal use. Obviously, a new law is called for - but not from a company cell phone.

Police are investigating an incident in a butchers shop in Rotherham Street, Llandudno, following a nasty incident involving a meat slicer. The area is currently cordoned off while evidence is removed for further DNA analysis. According to witnesses in the shop at the time, things got a little out of hand when the butcher got his apron caught up in the machinery and was last heard screaming for someone to 'remove the rump' before profuse amounts of blood left the customers traumatised.

You know who they are. They wear a tool belt for all their phones and gadgets. They look like a telephone line repairman. They waddle when they walk. They can speak but like all good children they only speak when spoken to. You might try texting them because it's quicker. Besides, they will tell you they just don't listen very well. They hear just fine, but don't listen. It's not what they do.
